Follow soprano Natalia Pavlova as she takes us on a journey from darkness to light—singing with renowned artists in the ancient crypts, churches and rooftops of Rome during the height of the pandemic, this film [directed by Alessandro Rossellini] celebrates art’s power to serve as a timeless source of refuge and inspiration.
This film takes the viewer on a journey of musical and spiritual ascension, beginning with the works of Renaissance and Baroque composers Monteverdi and Frescobaldi to Caccini and Merula, then moving into the present with contemporary compositions created in direct collaboration with Natalia— "Saint Francis Prayer" by American composer Eli Tamar, "Salve Dolce Vergine" by Iraida Yusupova, and "Voi sapete ch'io v'amo" (after Arcadelt) by Giovanna Sollima, who by great fortune was able to travel from Sicily to perform alongside Natalia the world premiere of a new adaptation of this work, arranged specifically for Natalia's voice.

Filmed in April 2022 by director Zeno Colantoni during a performance at the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli in Rome, the concert for Peace (Pace) was held under the guidance of Giovanni Sollima with an ensemble cast of international composers and musicians. The film features performances by maestro Sollima, who in addition to performing solo works, is joined by soprano Natalia Pavlova, the main protagonist of the previous film.
The film also presents the Orchestra Le Metamorfosi under the direction of Sieva Borzak, and Quartettorfeo, an ensemble comprised of violinists Manfred Croci and Plamena Krumova, violist Morian Taddei, cellists Ilaria Calabrò and Eleonora Testa, and the Italian writer David Colantoni.
Let music share in the voices of love and hope, bringing us unity and peace!

'Magnificat', the final film of the three-part trilogy 'Sulla Perfetta Letizia' (To the Perfect Joy) features soprano Natalia Pavlova in collaboration with celebrated Russian composer, philosopher and theorist Vladimir Martynov, featuring Pavlova and the Ensemble Opus Posth., under the direction of violinist Tatiana Gridenko.
